Courts Open at Queens University Tennis Complex. Tennis players in Mecklenburg County now have a new place to compete thanks to a partnership between Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation and Queens University of Charlotte. On Friday, Aug. 11, the department and university will open 12 lighted tennis courts at the complex, which is located beside the Marion Diehl Recreation Center, 2219 Tyvola Road, in south Charlotte.

Before 8 a.m. or after 5 p.m., the courts will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
